Radisson Blu Minneapolis — Reflections of Minneapolis

The City, Reimagined

The brief was a hotel renovation on a tight timeline — a wall in the lobby that needed to feel unmistakably Minneapolis, built the same way the Circular Logic series was built: real photographs, shot on location, layered and mirrored until the city's own architecture started arguing with itself. Four panels went up on-site, drawn from a wider body of work — 24 pieces in total — shot around downtown, the riverfront, and the skyline that surrounds it.

Some of these read as straight photographs — the Foshay Tower's spire, the skyline lit up at dusk from the Stone Arch Bridge, the old mill smokestacks along the riverfront. Others are fully reconstructed the way Circular Logic pieces are: a building's own glass and steel, mirrored and repeated until it becomes a pattern instead of a place.
